What would you change about modern society?

We have so many amazing inventions that have become daily tools to use in our lives. But that doesn’t mean we need to use them all, or use them all at once in my humble opinion.

It is said in many cultures, in many languages to “ Respect your Elders”, what they say, but it has to be followed by a conversation,”Why do say that?” Knowledge, and the desire to learn should always be to find out all opinions, or thoughts, or methods. My mother, brought up in the Anglican Church, and we we raised going to the United Church, was always reading about different religions in different countries. She encouraged me to go to the Catholic Church one Sunday with a friend. So I Respect other people’s religions. It doesn’t mean I have to follow it.

As I grow in my sixties, lol, I find leading a simple life is necessary for my sanity and well being. I think my wish for future family life is the ability to “be a mom” which is a full time occupation to raise a young child …or be a “dad” which is a full time occupation, surrounded by other people whose role is to build on the family unit. You may choose not to have children, but your role in society is equally important to provide teaching, medical, physical, transportation …..

I need more coffee, I write this with a headache, before 7 am, all opinions are my own and subject to change lol.
